The Multifolia example
Sainfoin was a plant well known to our grandparents, but its medicinal properties had to be scientifically proven.
As a result, a number of bold farmers committed themselves in 2008 to redeveloping the crop and producing the biomass needed for numerous scientific studies to identify the synergistic effects of active molecules. Sainfolia is an agricultural cooperative of 80 farmers.
Multifolia is a company dedicated to the industrialisation of sainfoin and to research and development.
Together, these organisations are highlighting the environmental, health, economic and social benefits of sainfoin.
Pascale Gombault, President of Sainfolia and Managing Director of Multifolia, works every day to promote the ingenuity of sainfoin. This enhancement of the culture and land of southern Champagne adds value to our region and its capacity for industrialisation.
