L’Atelier d’Ariane is a textile manufacturer that has been settled in Troyes for over 30 years. Today, in 2023, Atelier d’Ariane is growing fast and is working on an expansion project. While the company grows with its successes, personal fulfillment remains at the heart of its values.

Marie-Ange has been working at Atelier d’Ariane for 34 years: “I started out as a stitcher when I was 20. I became a sampler, which means I can make a model from A to Z, following the assembly instructions. Our strength is that we can work on any workstation. We have many customers for whom we know how to adapt according to the model required.

Marie-Ange has remained loyal to the Atelier d’Ariane throughout her career: “I find many advantages in working here, we learn every day, in a spirit of family and listening”.

Lénaïg Vénuat, Production Manager, adds, “It’s a give-and-take situation: if we give to the operators, they’ll give to us too”, and continues, “We’re a family, and the managers are very open and accessible. I arrived 2 years ago, and I immediately felt very welcome”.

“We often share meals, for end-of-year celebrations, birthdays… There’s also a big outing organised every year for all the employees,” says Marie-Ange.

The company’s policy is one of respect and listening. The next challenges are training and recruitment: “These days, the company has to know how to sell itself, just as much as the person applying for the job. We work with a lot of trainees to try and show them the business, and we take part in various open days,” explains Lénaïg.

“It’s a great job that anyone can do,” concludes Marie-Ange.
