Petit Bateau: 10000 Troyes

Petit Bateau was born in Troyes in 1893, where all production was carried out in its Saint Joseph factory. Today, the brand still produces part of its production within this same factory. Petit Bateau had to invent a totally original industrial model: to remain a French manufacturer in terms of production and employment while being an international brand.

René Lacoste launched his brand in 1933 and chose to install his manufacture in the capital of knitwear: Troyes. This is when the production of the first Lacoste polo shirts began in the Troyes factory.
