Biogas and Methanization Business Convention: Since 2012, Biogaz Vallée has organized the annual key event of the biogas sector in France, with one main ambition: to accelerate networking between operators & project sponsors – agricultural, industrial or territorial – and suppliers of solutions applied to methanization and gas mobility.

Launch of the European Hemp Pole: 200 people representing the entire hemp industry were gathered at the Aube Congress Centre in February 2023 for this event.

Ressources Congress: The 6th edition of this meeting took place in 2022, bringing together businesses, training centers, institutional actors, and providers of innovative material valorization solutions. A moment for exchange, information, and sharing experiences.

Move into the industrial production phase

Woodoo: Supported by the Aube technopole, Woodoo explores the natural porosity of wood and reconstructs the plant’s structure at the molecular level. Since 2021, an industrial demonstrator is being deployed to produce sheets of “enhanced” wood for the luxury and automotive markets.

Multifolia: Multifolia is currently developing an industrial pilot dedicated to the extraction of new molecules from sainfoin and legumes for applications in plant and animal health nutrition.

Diversify your business

Cibbios: Production of prefabricated bio-sourced walls in hemp concrete grown in Aube and wooden structures. The manufacturing and drying on the Vendeuvre/Barse site facilitate construction and improve performance: carbon footprint, insulation, thermal inertia, fire resistance…

Saipol, Avril Group: In addition to products for human and animal consumption, Saipol, a French leader in the transformation of rapeseed and sunflower, has diversified into the production of Diester, a rapeseed biodiesel that powers truck fleets. A real alternative to petrochemical-derived products.

Helmes International: Artifil, a specialist in industrial metal wire and plastic injection, has established in Haute Marne a manufacturing activity for twine made from natural fibers. Used for tying plants, this twine can be valorized in composting with agricultural waste.

Focus on Industry X.0

Garnica, a Spanish popular peeling group, chose the Troyes agglomeration to establish its 7th factory in 2020. For this first X.0 factory, Pierre Dhorne, director of the Troyes unit, called upon the dual expertise of the UIMM and the IoT Academy to analyze the production process before the launch, install sensors to facilitate predictive maintenance and safety, and assist HR and the Maintenance Manager in recruiting and training staff.

Integrate the latest trends and new technologies of the industry of the future by collaborating with the Troyes Institute of Services and Industry of the Future (ISIFT), which also leads the Connected Innovation chair through technical meetings and conferences.

Industrial Transition Through Innovation (TIPI): An engineering student supervised by a research professor from the UTT helps you innovate, verify the feasibility of a product, and integrate future industrial and technological trends.

Formations

From agriculture to the maintenance of production tools, recruit skilled labour and upgrade the skills of your employees thanks to initial or continuing training courses from CAP to Bac + 5.
