Mondial Relay Sets Up in Aube Logistics Park

The work began in July, on a 36,000 square meter site in the heart of the Aube Logistics Park, with the construction of a messaging center and its adjoining offices of 7,000 square meters, dedicated to parcel logistics in transit. Delivery is scheduled for spring 2024. Ultimately, around a hundred jobs will be created. The building, designed by the Maccadam firm, places particular emphasis on its ecological impact. It will be certified Breeam Very Good (a British certification that assesses the environmental quality of a building). The roof will be equipped with a photovoltaic installation, and work will be carried out on green spaces and merlons to preserve the local environment and ensure continuity for local wildlife and flora.

This real estate operation was carried out in collaboration between the developer Exia, the investor Epopée Gestion, and the user Mondial Relay, in partnership with the teams from Business Sud Champagne and the Department of Aube.

Business Sud Champagne has supported the project since the initial contact with Exia and its engineering office in January 2022: identifying the need, finding the most suitable land offer, organizing meetings with the Department’s teams, and ensuring the proper progress of procedures (land transfer, building permit approval, adherence to the schedule). The economic development agency continues to assist this multinational company (whose activity has already started in the Troyes metropolitan area on a temporary site) by connecting it with all the local stakeholders who facilitate the startup of the business, especially in terms of recruitment and hospitality.
