The Bioserenity LAB
In 2021, Alain Delahaye, a former textile design office director, left Bordeaux to join the start-up Bioserenity* and become part of the team leading the specialized unit in connected textiles in Troyes (capturing neurological, cardiac, and sleep data).
Innovative Medical Devices
For the past 2 years, Alain and his R&D team have collaborated with renowned doctors and surgeons to develop innovative medical devices that combine technologies from four distinct fields: textiles, mechanics, electronics, and pneumatics.
Here are some examples of their achievements:
- A postpartum support shorty.
- A pelvic support device.
- A laryngoscope for students to practice operations on vocal cords (3D printing).
- A breast support device for performing mammograms in a lying position by MRI.
- Inflatable compression pants aimed at improving blood circulation in immobilized individuals.
It would be a shame not to share these skills and cutting-edge technology! That’s why the LAB (Les Ateliers de Bioserenity) was created.
