The Garnica group sets up in Aube
Garnica recently chose Aube and the Grand Troyes industrial park in Troyes Champagne Metropole to build its second production plant in France.
Garnica, a global leader in the manufacturing of poplar plywood, has recently selected Aube and specifically the Grand Troyes industrial park in Troyes Champagne Metropole to build its second production plant in France (its seventh in Europe). The future site is expected to employ around 300 people.
The European leader currently employs 1100 people, and its revenue is expected to reach 250 million euros this year. Garnica aims to maintain its consistent growth of 15% over the past few years.
Before choosing Aube, several sites were considered, including those in the Grand-Est region and Hauts-de-France region. The chosen location, close to the poplar resources of the Aube and Seine valleys and near the A5 motorway, will allow the company to directly supply its customers in Northern Europe. The future plant will be built next to Enedis.
